I can give you everything you need to create a 1972 roster but you will with excel or an editor assign the players to their team.....
Indeed any roster from 1960 to 1976 can be fairly easily created..... but there would be some work to make it happen......
I have created and rated every player from this era but the players need to be assigned to a team
BTW that 1971 roster is actually the 1970 season.....

How do you identify fictional rosters just with the file name?

The 1978 roster still picks up a lot of the players that played in the early 80's, and the 1986 roster already has a new batch of players like Montana, Elway, Simms , walker

Are there any early 2000 roster files that are known to be viable for franchise mode ? So far, the only one I've managed to use through multiple seasons is raidermike's 2005v2 rosters. Everything else invariably crashes in the offseason at the training camp stage. It's interesting to note that when I check the number of FAs in raidermike's roster, it's well above the recommended 420 ( 500 something ) but somehow it still works. All the other rosters crash, even if lower the FAs count. I mean, sometime it works, I just reload and attempt to get passed the TC stage several times and it might work, but it's rare. I have no idea why.
