About the superstar mode, as far as I remember, none of datmans rosters worked on superstar mode.. it would always take you to the guys from the original rookie draft class. I'll look into it though, I have thought it would be a great feature to have working

I believe he would have to change the DB templates.dat file for the superstar mode to work correctly... I don't believe a roster file holds the superstar info in it.... If someone was to convert this roster into a dbtemplates file then it should work with superstar mode.

That is not the case at all. The superstar information is held in the StreamedData.db file. It is in the SROK table. You need to put the player IDs of all the rookies into that file. It's a little weird, but that's where it is.

Are these rosters also correct with salary caps? I mean are they real? With current cap room and correct contracts?

A thing that strikes to me is that most young halfbacks, especially rookies and sophomores, have a very low speed rating on datman's Updated rosters, which carries over to your roster. I know it's mostly accurate in terms of the 40 yard dash at the combine. But even some of the NFL's top backs ran a 40 in the 4.6s and 4.7s and still have 90+ speed in Madden. There are so many explosive rookie runners who have their speed in the low 80s, hence some of them will return kicks on their respective teams or play a change of pace role! I don't know if you can change all the ratings, but at least the HBs drafted in the past 2 years, which isn't that many, should be fixed based on their real game. Halfbacks nowadays aren't much faster than linebackers, since defenders have become more athletic and halfbacks need bulk to carry heavy loads, so in that regard, the low speed ratings are okay. But Madden has always been a game of speed. I have a franchise heading into my 11th season, with most recent top runners retired. The remaining young RBs are way too slow and lose their roster spots to Madden-created rookies that are blazing fast. Indeed with a HB with low 80s speed is almost impossible to succeed on All Madden.

A tweak of these speed ratings would make your roster unique!

If you want to make your experience a little more unique, try using the global edit in the Madden editor to edit all HBs at once. Or if you just want to edit the younger ones, go to the rookie class and manually edit them. You can do that on your version of the roster if you wish.
