OTOH, I thought we might still be talking about your introducing the latest cap into only your roster file, so it could still be used to start a franchise without requiring the purchase of another team during bankruptcy after three seasons.

I have released the latest DB_Templates already last week. That should give you the latest cap and schedule on ANY roster you use if you start a NEW franchise.

Regarding speed ratings on your roster:

-Jayden Daniels was clocked at 21.8 mph on his 85-yard TD run vs Florida (ref: https://x.com/Sheadixon/status/17241909 ... 09?lang=en)
-Lamar Jackson was clocked at 20.48 (ref: https://www.si.com/nfl/ravens/news/balt ... ining-camp)

So if Lamar has 96 speed, JD5 should have 97 plus I think after you do your own research you will confirm this.

You do know you can fix it yourself right? Use NZA Madden Editor 1.3 it will let you do whatever you wish to do with ratings. It easy as pie buddy. No need to ask anyone you do it yourself. Best way ever.

Hey, if you are following my roster for almost a decade, I based it off actually on the latest Madden ratings. Since the rookies are not yet graded by EA, I am just relying for now on their combine or pro-day. https://draftscout.com/dsprofile.php?Pl ... tYear=2024

Any dat modification should be installed in Documents\Madden NFL 08 overriding the default version from the main directory.
DB Templates should be placed in Documents\Madden NFL 08
Roster file should be placed in Documents\Madden NFL 08\Rosters folder and select it in game
Franchise file should be placed Documents\Madden NFL 08\Saved folder and select it in game if you are using my franchise version

Now, once placed properly, the game will now read the DB Templates that has the latest cap and schedule in Documents\Madden NFL 08 first but if not found, it will read the DB Templates from the install directory and you will still have the old cap and schedule.

When does the crashing occurs? What teams are you using? If this happens on a specific team I might be able to help you find the solution.

Man it keeps happening while playing in my second season franchise mode with the Chicago Bears. Randomly vs. teams like Texans, Colts, Lions, Vikings, the game just completely freezes any error message or anything. When I look at task manager, just shows Not Responding for Madden 08

Okay so it happens in the 2nd season of the franchise. Did you auto-reordered the depth charts before beginning the 2nd season? Can you send me your franchise file so I can see if if there is something wrong in your franchise?
