Play M21 CF as K/P/FB/OL !! (Working!)

This is an edit to the original post. I asked if it could be done and well.. I ended up figuring it out! Here’s how to do it:

1) Download BEP’s Madden Editor. Link: https://GitHub.com/bep713/madden-franchise-editor

2) Follow the instructions and install.

***The next step is if you don’t have a player created/save game made with existing player in an M21 CFM that you want to use as a K/P/FB/OL yet.***

3) Open Madden 21 and start a new offline franchise. Create the player you want to use (any position, doesn’t matter) and start your season at any point. When you choose a name it might be easier to make their first name (AAAAAAA) as the next step will be much easier (you can change their name later). Make sure to save and remember the name of your save file!

4) With M21 closed, go back to your desktop and open BEP’s franchise editor. Open up your save file and click on the “Table Editor” option.

5) In the drop down menu that pops up go down to option 131. I am doing this at work and will edit the post later with the exact name, but it is 100% option 131. “131 - Player Values” or something like that is the field you want.

6) Next, scroll over to the right until you find either “First Name” or last name and sort the table by your preferred choice. Then find the player you created/want to use.

7) Within here you can edit ANY player values/stats/height/weight/whatever you want. Most importantly for this to work you want to change two fields. The first one is the player type (ex: MLB_FieldGeneral) and the other is the actual player position (ex: MLB). Switch this to the desired values and lastly...

Don’t forget to change your player ratings to something more useful! Obviously you’ll want better blocking if you choose to be a lineman or FB, and kick power and accuracy for Kickers/Punters!

Then save and close the application and launch M21. Have fun!

KNOWN BUGS:

A) When you initially load your save file your player will still show as their original position. This will all change when you play your first game.

B) PLAYER LOCK CAMERA DOESNT WORK! It’s not a huge deal but you’ll want to use any other camera when your player is on the field. Madden devs never intended you to play these positions so there is only an arial blimp sky camera view for them (except FB should be fine as you can player lock to them normally when controlling everyone).

C) SEASON GOALS will CRASH your game. Do NOT select it! And make sure auto-save is on. The Season Goals automatically pops up when you move from preseason to regular season. With auto-save on you can let it crash, then reload at week 1 and so long as you don’t click on the menu option you’re fine.

These bugs are but a small price to pay for something we’ve never been able to have on PC (at least WITH super sim.. 08 didn’t have it on PC for some reason).
