After I swap out the original 32 NFL Madden08 teams with custom teams in the Roster file, can I then delete those NFL teams or will it cause future crashes? Also, is there a maximum # of teams that can be created?

I've always had issues after deleting the default teams on a team swap. I would leave them, but maybe one of the other users here knows a way around this.

Yeah, I tried a few months ago and had an issue but thought it might be for a different reason. I will wait.

Yes You can delete the teams.....

A roster will hold 64 custom teams

To import 64 teams to a roster you must import the default COCH to the roster after every 16 teams with a DB editor......
