What causes repeated games and extra games in schedules?

The schedule dates are incorrect. Sept 12,2021 = Sunday, Sept 13,2021 = Monday. Monday night double header should be Pitt. vs N.Y.G at 6:15p (early game) and Titans vs Broncos at 9:15p, late game! Franchise is fine, but the schedule needs corrections! The last game in the schedule was blank. And there were no Monday night games scheduled!

How do I change it?
And what can I do about extra games on week 17. Although next year we'll need to figure out if it's possible to make teams play 17 games like they already are doing on my schedule.

How did you import the schedule? Thru NZA? I had a bad experience of importing schedule using NZA. After you import it, double check it - I suggest use Madden AMP to edit the schedule.

It doesn't let me edit schedules in AMP after year 1. It gives me an error saying something like unable to access schedule or something like that. So i'm forced to use NZA after year 1. It's frustrating.

You may also want to try the schedule maker tool Elguapo created to correct the schedule, then re-import back into your franchise. I normally wait for jinx to release his franchise files, which are on point with the schedules! And I don't jump ahead into the franchises because I love his accurate career stats, which are updated with every season's franchise file!

As far as the 17 games, I have one idea. My only logic to that is to somehow make the 4th pre-season game the start of regular season week 1. Also there's the issue with the expanded teams playoff's! That's going to require some programming to restructure the number of playoff teams allowed!

The community would need a Calhoupe script miracle to get the 17 or 18 game seasons to work with the expanded playoffs correctly! But if we had the tools that EA used to make the game, we shouldn't have an issue modifying it's logic with the schedule updates!

Since Madden 08 is no longer sold by EA and can't be purchased as new, we may want to petition to EA soon to release Madden 08 as open source, and give us their development tools! Like with Madden 20 to 21, I don't think they are going to rewrite the entire game's logic just to add the newer 17 & 18 game schedules!

That's it, and Elguapo should be able to direct you on it's use! So I see Madden Amp is not working for you! So give Elguapo a shout for assistance using his tool!

Did anyone find a fix for these double extra games appearing in the schedule? Are we really forced to hand make the schedule using that tool?
