Does anybody know a place to get the game for a cheap price on a Mac?

That's probably not the info you're looking for, but I also have a Mac and here is what I do. I have a Windows partition on my Mac's hard drive, and that way, I can play with the Windows version.

I sadly can't help you about a Mac version of the game.

There is no Mac-specific version. You just have to find an old disc version. That's the only way to buy it.
