Not a lot of passing attempts...
I was doing Saints @ Cardinals yesterday (testing my sliders again) and Carson Palmer had only thrown 10 passes in the 3rd quarter. Is there a way to make CPU QBs pass more?

You can adjust the pass/run ratio of the coaches in any of the editors from this site as well the coaches aggressiveness, but there are other factors to consider.
What was the score of the game through the 3rd quarter and how had the game flowed to that point. Generally speaking if the CPU is ahead they will run the ball more especially late in the game as well as throughout if they are having success and maintaining a lead

They playing pretty good. I don’t remember the score, (going to put the log up when I get on my PC) but I know I was winning.

10 passes in 1Q is not a low number.
If the other team starts the half, has a long drive, you have a long drive and then the other team has a drive, then the Q could be over. Factor in a turnover and 10 sounds alright

I may be wrong but I think he was saying that the QB only had 10 attempts for the game, not just one qtr, but through the 3rd Qtr. I may have read it incorrectly.
To the original poster, I think it's important to understand that each game has its own unique ebb and flow to it. I want some uniqueness to each game I play otherwise the challenge is not there. I try not to get hung up on the stats, because over the long haul of a season that will balance out correctly if you've chosen to play with sliders you are comfortable with. There are some excellent franchise guides on this site you can use to assist you. They have helped me.
