Is there a way to make or edit a single play in the playbook of a coach?

Are you talking about stock playbooks ?

If so you can find them uncompressed in this thread and then edit with the packfan playbook editor

What I want to do is take the play formation out of NE: Singleback 3 TE/ play: Counter. I want to change the blocking scheme to where the weak side OT pulls instead of the OG.

The easiest way I know is to use the in-game editor to place that play in its own playbook and switch pulling player(also change the name for later), then uncompress the playbook and use the playbook meger to add in the new play. Note:the old play will still be there.

If the play in question is inside of the gamedata file, and not in a custom book, your answer is above. When you make the change, practice and make sure the RB is delayed enough for the offside tackle to get in front! I have problems when I create plays with the offside tackle pulling. They just aren't fast enough to get in front and mostly run into the QB or get knocked back into the handoff!

The best I could get was to have to both guards pull. I wanted the Counter Trap with both the offside G and T pulling, but the Tackle kept causing too many issues with the QB exchange!

well I tried first to find the play I wanted and had the HB take a counter step...I practiced the play 10 times..9 out of the 10 either gained positive yards and 2 scored TD

I made this thread a global topic. It will now appear in every forum on the board.

I was wondering why it wasn't already.

Good decision.
