Cannot Change Screen Resolution

Hey guys, I'm new to Madden 08 and am having trouble with resolution. I cannot get the resolution to change no matter what I try. I have serched the site as much as I can and have tried many different things. Windowed mode will not work with Alt Enter and I cannot get it to force windowed mode through the scripts. I have tried delete my settings.db and restarting the game but no luck. I am running the game on my laptop with a nvidia gpu but it also has Intel integrated graphics so my Nvidia panel does not have display settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The graphics for the menus and what not are 800 X 600 so you can not adjust this in the settings......

The graphic settings you are adjusting are for a game for example my settings are 800 x 600 but once I start a game it loads the game 1920 x 1200

If you want to run the game in higher settings you can do this with calhoupes scripts.....

Even when I adjust the resolution I go in game and it is still the 800x600 resolution. I’ve tried the scripts as well.. super weird. I was able to get it to work on my old desktop about a year ago but now no matter what I do I can’t get it to change on my laptop

Go into your documents/Madden NFL 08/ folder. Open the Madden.ini. Scroll down to the Option Group: System Settings. Change your video resolution there. Also you can change mostly anything else of interest you want to tweak. What's the max resolution of your laptop?

Still no luck sadly, my max resolution is 1920x1080. I also tried 1600x900 as well

Weirdly I got it to work if I hook my laptop up to my TV. Preferably wouldn’t want to play that way lol. Obviously the issue lies somewhere in my laptop monitor settings. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Somehow was able to get it to run full screen yet still not the correct resolution. Even the menu runs full screen with no scripts.

Just glancing at your screen shot of the .ini file shows you have Window mode set to yes. That could be an issue with playing full screen. Your resolution issue lies within the windows gpu setting not Madden. Check your shortcut properties to see if the DPI is set to the application. I too have the game installed onto a laptop, but I don't have any problem setting the resolution to 1920x1080 or changing it to a lower setting.

I have a 4k projector, I set the resolution in the Madden.ini to 3840X2160 but it
didn't recognize it, Is there something else I have to do?

I am pretty sure you can do this with calhoupes scripts.....
