If you deleted the file in-game, the only way would be to check the Saved folder and see if your system has any previous versions of the older recorded that still have the file.

My tip

put the Madden 08 folder (from Documents)
in a service like Dropbox...


if you acidentally overwrite some save, or even deleted it..
you can rollback the mistake
