HD players mod

Happy New Year Everyone! The HD Players Mod on the nexus site just crashes after I select uniforms and try to start the game. All you're supposed to do is put pladata.dat in my documents/Madden08 Some people have gotten it to work any suggestions would be grateful, thanks.
