Has anyone ever made a screen play the AI can run effectively?
The AI seems to be terrible at screens and just can't seem to handle the timing. Has anyone ever managed to make a screen play they can run effectively? What was the trick?

NZA Editor on Windows 8 or 8.1?
Has anyone been able to get either version of the NZA editor to run on windows 8 or 8.1? A number of functions, including the Roster to CSV function would be very useful to have.

Re: Changing how player progression works
Sorry for the long absence. I had a very busy week there but I have this week offso I'm really going to really put some time in on this now. Player's potential and progression rate for an ability would be unique to that player. Ex. Player A's potential speed and progression rate of his speed will be...

Re: Changing how player progression works
That is the equation. Each ability has its own potential and starting progression rate fraction. Ex. (SPD potential - SPD) * SPD prog rate The rate is modified by all the other stuff, participation, coaches etc And yes, there is a possibility of negative progression. I'm working on all of that, alt...

Re: Changing how player progression works
So how is progression calculated? You say a player with a 90 rating, a 98 potential and .25 scale? would gain 2 points a year? Is the formula (initial-max)*scale where initial is always the players rating in the first year. If it is (current-max )*scale then will the amount of progression decrease ...

Re: Changing how player progression works
Drizz, I went ahead and changed some things... Each of a player's ratings will have its own individual potential rating as well as its own progression scale (scale would be affected by work ethic, coaches, etc... like before) Those would be predetermined for a player. so if WR comes in at 90 spd, b...

Re: Changing how player progression works
Second, having faster WR's would only increase the tendency towards deep passing if DB's are now on average slower. If they were both to increase in speed one would think things would remain about even. Thirdly, the purpose of allowing Wr's to have the potential to rapidly improve their speed is no...

Re: Changing how player progression works
I assume you're talking about WRs again with physical ability. I ran sims on QBs before... tried high THA/THP and 70 or so AWR and then 90 THA/THP and high 90s AWR and the results were pretty close, with higher AWR holding a couple points better on Qb rating. Both versions would have pretty similar...

Re: Changing how player progression works
Wouldn't this necessitate having a whole bunch of extra fields? You would need to permanently store a players original rating from when they entered the league which seems like it would use more fields, not less. If you just used their rating that year before progression wouldn't the maximum increa...
