On my system when starting to play a new game, the screen goes dark for a moment, just before the screen shows the home stadium images. When I start the games with the 49ers at home, at Levi's Stadium, the screen goes dark at the same point, but it stays dark until the game dumbs me back into Window...

I was actually running the game on Windows 7, I don't know if that had anything to do with it though. We have theories that a recent Windows update has brought the penalty crashing to Windows 7.
