Thank you, Austinmario for these. I looked at Madden 08 default and Madden generated playbooks with both Packfan's playbook editor and the database editor and, sure enough, these codes seem to make sense. I've always wondered about them.

Now, does anyone know how the Madden AI uses them?

Yes, these can be used. They will need to be added as a stock playbook via the dat file replacer. Both players must have EXACTLY the same stock playbook file or Madden will crash.
