I have done this process with my Agl mod and DONT do the Madwolf and then roster converter...it just wouldn't work for me. I'd say use Rixster's method.

1. Open image in photoshop, click on colour menu, if the colour is indexed it there should be a tick next to indexed colour. If not click indexed.
