Re: Removing Depth Chart Restrictions?
I really should be able to use Taysom Hill at whatever offensive skill position I want to but he's just stuck at QB The bigger issue is that Madden will rubberband him down because a QB "shouldn't" play WR or RB. Madden's player ratings will change based on base stats and positional assig...

Reordering Draft Picks to Simulate NCAAF
For those of us who mostly play the NCAA-modded version of Madden, the NFL-style draft protocol doesn't make much sense. For better or for worse, in college football the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I created a procedure that ensures just that. This makes for a more realistic dynasty-bui...

Re: Exporting draft picks?
What I actually need is the draft order, as in, pick #1 assigned to team X, pick #2 assigned to team Y, etc. I know this is possible because I made an excel sheet that would reorder draft picks so that the better teams would get better picks, to more accurately simulate recruiting. I based it off of...

Exporting draft picks?
I play the NCAA-modded version of Madden exclusively on Dynasty mode. The draft works totally different from recruiting, so I made an Excel spreadsheet that will reorder draft picks so that it more accurately simulates recruiting. It works pretty well - I have gone through at least one postseason wi...

Re: Bandit and tite 3-4
I understand ..what I was explaining if a team showed me that defense where the weakness is.. I'm not sure I follow you. Any of those things you mentioned would be weaknesses of playcalls, rather than of formations. For instance : you say if they play zone the RB could be open in the flat, but if t...

Re: Bandit and tite 3-4
(The image is just to show basic gap assignments, not blitzing paths. OLB's cover the C gaps, MLB covers the open A gap.)

Bandit and tite 3-4
According to this article , odd-front defenses in Texas are adopting a new alignment to counter the spread running game. It's called the tite 3-4. From either a 4i-0-4i or a 3-0-3 alignment, the defense's first goal is to kill the B-gaps and one of the A-gaps, which severely limits the offense's ins...
